The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari

Hello! It has been a few days I haven't written a blog. But tonight is really an ideal weather for writing and sahring something. From the evening it has started drizzling and till now it's the same. A cool wind is blowing with lots of water droplets in it. I have closed my window because it's really chilled outside. A really nice atmosphere for a hot cup of coffee and a wonderful story book in hand. And that's what I'm doing now! Not the coffee but the story book is there :-). You know! if you read a story and share it with 5 of your friends it gives you more satisfaction and enjoyment and I also want to get that now. (Ooooops! A little interruption. I got a call and left for the OS lab to return the switch 'm having to my friend. But I really liked to walk up to the lab. The atmosphere is undoubtedly wonderful.)
Right now I was reading a book called The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin. S. Sharma. It tells about a person how he fulfils his dream and reaches his destiny. I personaly think it's more of a fable than a story. It realy captivates your thoughts.
It's all about a renouned lawyer who has got all his materialistic pleasure and has reached the pinnacle of glory of his professional life. But he is missing a lot in his personal life! He has got a broken marriage, a bizzare lifestyle and is realy missing all kind of peace of his mind. At this juncture he suffers a massive heart attack. Here, the story starts taking it's own turns! The writer who is a junior of him in this story tries to visit him in the hospital but he is refused by Julian (the lawyer whom we were talking about). Then suddenly no one finds Julian anymore.
After 2 long years, life has again started to move in it's own way, suddenly somebody wants to meet John(the writer who has now become a very successful lawyer) in his office without a prior appointment. When John meets the person he is shell shocked! the person standing infront of him is looking like half of his age, full of energy and life. It was Julian! He's a changed man now. He is having a wonderful physic and looking so young that it seems that he has walked back into his youth against time. What happend to him? what's the miracle behind this?
Actually theres no miracle. For the last 2 years he travelled to India for search of peace and satisfaction. There, in the Himalayas, he met with The Sages of Sivana. Now he has turned to a monk. He has learned a lot about life from the sages and now he is again in the West to serve the people who really needs to have a peace of their mind, a proper goal of life. Do you know what he learnt from the sages? How he controlled his life and reached his destiny?
aha! I'm not going to share this to you. I realy want you all to go ahead and read the wonderful story. Be my guest! you will love it. When you will start reading this you will really find how wonderful it is. Afterall I really can't narrate it the way the author has done. I have it with me, if you like I will mail it to you. :-)
Thanks for being with me in this beautiful night. I really enjoyed to share what I have just gone through. I will be even more excited if I find that you are really inspired to read this and taste the wonders it has in it!
'm going to sleep now goodnight! have a nice day.
